During the drying process, the wet wood shavings keeps passing through the dryer drum, and it takes about 25 minutes to pass through the dryer body, when it leaves the dryer, its moisture content can drop down to be about 15%.

The drying temperature inside the wood shavings drying machine is higher than 120 centigrades, during about 25 minutes drying time, not only the water is evaporated, but also the high temperature helps to kill the harmful bacterials, and protect the chickens against microbes.

For a good quality wood shaivngs as chicken farm bedding, usually we have to separate out the wood powder which is not good for the little birds. What is more, too thick wood shavings also is not good which may hurt the chicken feet, thus here one rotary drum sieve is necessary.
