Advantage and Disadvantage of Airflow Sawdust Dryer

Airflow Sawdust Dryer is for drying wet sawdust with small capacity quickly, but it  is not suitable for drying sawdust with big capacity, and after drying , the sawdust needs to be spreaded out in order to avoid the dried sawdust get wet again.


For Airflow Sawdust Dryer Machine, it consists of several air pipes, the strong hot air flow takes the wet sawdust moving rather quickly inside the pipes, and the moving speed is more than 15 m/s. In other words, with very short time the sawdust will leave the air pipes and come out.

It means that much heat will be lost, what is more, within one time drying, the moisture content of wet sawdust only can be reduced a little, and in one time drying, can not reduce the moisture content to the needed output moisture content.  Thus, will have to dry the wet sawdust several times.


Airflow sawdust dryer is usually for small capacity sawdust drying, and usually the processing capacity of airflow sawdust dryer is less than 500 kg/h.
