Capacity 2.5 t/h Pine Wood Shavings Dryer Machine

Sunco Machinery can design and supply different drying capacity of pine wood shavings dryer machine as the clients' actual need, and the dried pine wood shavings is often used as animal bedding for horse, etc, also it can be used to produce shaving board。

Here we take input capacity 2,500 kg pipe wood shavings drying plant as sample.  

Raw Material: Pine Wood Shaving, Length 70mm x Width 30mm x Thickness 1.5mm，loose bulk density: about 50 kg per m3, for horse bedding.

Initial Moisture Content (%):  40%-50%;  Output Moisture Content (%): about 10%-12%;  Input Capacity : 2500 kg/hour;  Fuel: Waste Wood.

For pine wood shavings dryer machine, it is to use high temperature hot air to heat and dry the wet shavings quickly and continuously, thus it will need to burn the fuel to create the hot flue gas for the drying process.  As a result, the fuel consumption occupies most of the running cost.

In order to reduce the fuel cost, and create more benefit for the clients, then the cheap and economical fuel is rather necessary. For the owner of pine wood shavings drying plant, usually there are much waste wood such as small branch，bark, etc which is wood waste.  

Thus if we use these waste wood as fuel, then it can help to reduce the fuel cost as much as possible. 

When we use the waste wood as fuel for the pine wood shavings drying machine, if we directly burn the waste wood, and use the hot flue gas to contact and heat the wet wood shaving, there is certain possiblity of fire issues during the drying process.

Then how to avoid the fire issues, we can use Heat exchanger to heat the amibient air, and generate clean hot air for the pine wood shavings drying machine. To do it in this way, there will be not possiblity of fire issues.  Of course, the related fuel consumption will be some more.
